But historical festivals don’t end there! The Sentinel on the Neva Festival, which will be held at the Oreshek Fortress this weekend, offers yet another opportunity to watch spectacular battle reconstructions, master archery and enjoy a meal at a medieval tavern. Entrance fee is 450 rub. To get to the Oreshek Fortress, take the direct bus number 575 from the Ulitsa Dybenko metro station to Shlisselburg, which departs every 20 minutes (the trip takes about 1,5 hours), and when you’re there, get a ferry ticket to the fortress.

Great news for music lovers! The 7th St. Petersburg International All Together Opera Festival is a unique opportunity to listen to all-time classics free of charge! The festival starts on July 12 in the Peter and Paul Fortress with the production of Rimsky-Korsakov's Tsar's Bride, while at 5pm on July 15 you can listen to Giuseppe Verdi’s Macbeth. Entrance to the fortress is free.

Can’t decide what you love more: art, or chocolate? You no longer have to choose between them, as this Saturday, July 14, the Summer Garden hosts one of the most unusual exhibitions ever: The Walk by Marc Chagall, made of 3,000 chocolate sweets! And the most exciting part: after the exhibition is over, you can even taste the masterpiece!
